Welcome to my personal research website.
I am Lena Kaltenbach, a research assistant and doctoral student in English linguistics at Universität Mannheim. My work is primarily based at the chair Anglistik IV (diachronic linguistics), where I am actively engaged in exploring the world of language contact and change.
Currently, I am honored to be a member of the DFG research unit SILPAC (Structuring the Input in Language Processing, Acquisition and Change). This interdisciplinary project focuses on understanding how changes in the structure of language input influence language processing, language acquisition, and historical language change.
Through this website, I aim to share my research interests, ongoing projects, and contributions to the field of English linguistics. Feel free to explore my work and get in touch if you have any questions or potential collaborations in mind.
